SHIFTING is a framework that was developed as a way to help us remember and practice our commitments to equity, diversity, inclusion, and antiracism. It prompts us to integrate equity into all aspects of our work and can be used for decision-making, project planning, and evaluation.

  • Introduction to SHIFTING

    This workshop provides an introduction to the SHIFTING framework as an accessible assessment tool that can help your team integrate equity into all aspects of your work planning and decision-making. The workshop begins with a broad overview of the SHIFTING principles and then offers your team time to practice applying the framework to real-life projects or decision points.

  • SHIFTING Deep DIVE

    This hybrid workshop series/group coaching experience helps to strengthen participants' equity leadership by allowing them to learn and apply the principles of SHIFTING to a specific project they are working on. By the end of this series, participants should be able to see and share the concrete impact of their efforts at work, express more confidence in integrating DEI into their project planning and decision-making, and have a community of accountability partners to lean on for support and feedback.

  • Equity Assessments

    Whether you need an org-wide assessment or a review of a discrete body of work, I conduct equity-centered audits of your policy and practices including a final report and presentation that makes org-specific recommendations for how you can better embed your commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion into your strategy and operations.

  • Customized Services

I have over 15 years of experience leading and supporting efforts to create more equitable and diverse communities and organizations as a facilitator, practitioner, and strategist. I strive to center the voices of those most impacted by my recommendations and decisions and this extends to the spaces I facilitate. My expertise is not in having all the answers but in bringing people together to co-create solutions.
